Re: Bob plays The Acoustic at The Baked Potato
Bloody Hell.! What a night that must have been.
I can feel that original inspiration coming back to fill my gut with enthusiasm and just raw passion, the memory of seeing bomb for the first time when Evil Gus brought Bob C out to Sydney in 2007.
Thanks so much for putting that together Dan. 5:35 is a !!!! moment. Will there be any more vid, perhaps a release.?

A warm "your welcome" to everyone. I'm so psyched to hear your responses to this. I think Bob might be adding something soon… And thanks Rob for the reminder about the no-Flash link. I'm still living in a Flash world. I am told there is a Flash afterlife.

Re: Bob plays The Acoustic at The Baked Potato
Thanks Dan for posting!
I love the camera work and editing. That was a fun night. It is interesting timing. I just sent in the Acoustick last week to Harry Flieshman an excellent luthier to fix the pickup system. I have not used the Acoustick much lately because of problems with the pickups. I will be talking to Emmett and Harry about production. It has taken a long time but I do hope it can become a reality. I am planning on doing more Acoustick work in the near future.

He's a great teacher and person. You would learn a ton. -Eric Are you kidding? He's the one that got me hooked up on the instrument and started all of this with just one note in a single video! Of course I'de love to see him live! Must keep an eye out for it! Thanks Dan for the video, thanks Bob for the music

EricTheGray wrote: It would be great if stickist would investigate HTML 5 plugins for YouTube and Vimeo. To be clear, neither YouTube nor Vimeo require a plugin for HTML 5 video with a current version of Firefox (I know this is true of other browsers, as well). However, I keep a Firefox extension called "HTML 5 Video Everywhere" installed (though disabled) for sites which require its functionality: the player it generates is inferior to YouTube and Vimeo's native HTML 5 players, hence I rarely use it.

What I meant is a plugin for phpBB so it's easy to embed a video in a post. Being able to use a custom tag like "[youtube]" usually requires something that's installed in phpBB. -Eric

Re: Bob plays The AcouStick at The Baked Potato
Are the plans for the Acoustick patented? If not, perhaps the design could be open-sourced, so we could perhaps pay a luthier to build some?
