However, I was wondering what the status of using Impulse Responses, is if any?
The open source nature of this unit opens it up to a ton of possibilities. Hopefully the hardware can keep up! LOL.
I was looking at the Line6 Helix, but this is an interesting alternative.

Re: I'm the MOD DUO USA DEALER!!
Since guitar rig has been more or less kicked to the curb by its maker, I been looking for an alternative to use with my stick. I got a mod duo and I’m pretty happy with it. It’s pretty easy to use and the selection of plugins is pretty good. I do wish there was an easy way to use the ui on an iPad, but that’s a fairly minor quibble.

I believe some people have connected their Mod Duo to their iPad using Bluetooth. You will need to get a Bluetooth dongle to plug into the Duo. Here it the one I got and works fine. https://frys.com/product/7299223?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG
Don't forget to check out the Mod Forum at http://forum.moddevices.com You can search "iPad" and there are several discussions on how to connect the iPad to the Duo. It's a great community. Reminds me a bit of this one. Great people and great discussions.

super noisy iphone video of me noodling around on "christmas time is here" with the mod duo on a fairly clean ish reverby setup with a bit of tremolo on the bass. i goof a little with the freeze plugin a small bit at the end. hadn't played in a long while so i'm pretty rusty but i'm having fun with the mod duo now
