Re: Amps
I looked up the specs on your 515s. 15" drivers are too big. I'm looking at the 1000 watt 10" drivers of the JBL EON 610. Smaller cones have less mass and a better response time. http://www.instituteofbass.com/archive/product_spotlight/phil_jones/AnDroiD wrote: I've got a pair of JBL EON 515XT's they move alot of air but suck for Stick

You can’t go wrong with Bose for the Stick.

Re: Amps
I bought the EON when it first came out 'cause it was sexy looking and light. They are quite uneven in response I need a graphic e.q. to even them out they sound good @ low volume but get honky real quick when you turn 'em up. If I we're to do it again I would GO WITH QVC'S! I wanted stereo reproduction. The situation is certainly passable but not what I'm looking for. Next upgrade will be full-tilt. A Greenboy cab. & power amp. I run a PODX3 Live. maybe some kind of stand-alone for the Melody side. I just want my bass side to be true and loud and EON's don't cut it. Beginner mistake. I'm certainly not getting rid of 'em I have a Mackie mixer and assorted drum boxes and synths that still need amplification. (I couldn't resist the vacuum cleaner joke and the EON's SUCKING)

Re: Amps
I tried out the BOSE L2 with three B1s and was not very impressed. It had the ToneMatch mixer, but I couldn't find that certain sound... I couldn't get the same tone that my older JC-120 Roland amps have. I went to see the JBL EON powered speakers and again not impressed. For now, I'm going to stick with my JC-120s and Strymon Trio. I like this setup. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KuqIYs5i_nsI also use the Steinberg UR44 when feeding into my home system. It's a great portable pre-amp that fits in the Stick case. Re: Amps
I have two of the older JC120 amps. I like the one with the metal corners the best. Jayesskerr wrote: The JC120 is a great amp! I like it so much I bought two!

Re: Amps
I've had many of these amps over the years and love their design. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6V1U59KEpII like reading reviews about the JC120. It's true that the older ones are better.http://www.musiciansfriend.com/amplifiers-effects/roland-jc-120-jazz-chorus-ampJayesskerr wrote: OOO! Nice, see mine does not have those!
