where to get strings?
This may sound like a silly question, but I assure you it isn't.
I play Warr Guitar and Stick. I need new strings for the Warr. The Warr site is down while Mark Warr recovers. Any ideas where I can buy a set of 12 strings?
Thanks - kenn

Re: where to get strings?
For the Bass side you can try Juststrings, their bulk bass strings work on my Megatar and my Krappy (sold it packets of 6 each). The Krappy is 34" scale so that should work for Warr but they do NOT have the thin core near the ball end like LaBella steps do. So make sure you consider that before ordering.
For Melody side I had a bulk order filled after a lot of waiting from Kalium strings. If you order from Kalium order at least 25 each and you'll get a great discount but BE sure to call them and speak to someone rather than order online. Their customer service has been bad lately, but I'm glad I did it earlier this year cause I'm all setup for quit awhile now.
The Juststrings bass strings are pretty comprable to D'Addario in brightness but they're not as smooth out of the package, after a week or two they feel great. Just my 2 cents.

Re: where to get strings?
Don't you need a serial number for your instrument to order, can you order strings from SE if there NOT intended for a Stick?

Binder twine works. Sounds great, and really inexpensive...

Black Diamond strings are long enough for a 34" scale instrument on the melody side. At least on the stick. Cant say 100% on the Warr. http://www.blackdiamondstrings.com/

I have a Warr TGSS. I've used SE strings on it before with pretty good success. I'd start there.
