Helping Our Friend Arthur Durkee Get to Interlochen
Hi, everyone. I encouraged fellow Stick player Arthur Durkee to start a GoFundMe campaign to get him to the Interlochen workshop this summer. He has fallen on some hard times and had his van broken into and lost a lot of gear. He had given up hope for making it and I would like to see him there. I think he adds a lot to the workshop and he isn't asking for very much. Art has been an inspiration to me when I needed some encouragement and I value his friendship. It's hard to be disabled and down and I think this would mean a lot to him. https://www.gofundme.com/interlochen-stick-seminar-expensesI started out the sharing and it would be a wonderful thing for the community to step up and help. And if there are others out there in serious need please contact me. -Eric

Re: Helping Our Friend Arthur Durkee Get to Interlochen
Arthur is an amazing individual. I had the pleasure of meeting him at the last Interlochen event and he is a fine musician and a good friend to have. He's classically trained and writes, sings and performs at a very high level. I am seeing that he has met his immediate goal. That's a big warm hug for the Stick community. Good job spreading the word Eric. The Interlochen event is going to be EVEN better now.
