Mark Kroos
Just heard this guy play live at the bar up the street. Apparently he's local, whoda thunk it? Anyhoo when his first set was over I had to ask the obvious question "have you ever played a Chapman Stick?" His response was no, but he'd love to try one. And I just happen to have a nice Maple 10 String for sale.....
So now we are gonna meet up sometime soon and I'll let him check out the Maple as well as my Railboard. Even if Mark decides that The Stick isn't for him I think it's important that he try one out. Heck, every musician should try one out

Re: Mark Kroos
He s got the hand independence going for him. That was amazing. I bet you get him to get hooked on a chapman stick.
When I was the stage manager at the National Guitar Workshop (2012ish) we hosted the 6 String Theory contest. Basically it was a guitar contest for various styles of guitar playing. We were hosting the semi-finals. One of the styles was fingerstyles guitar and this guy showed up with his double neck ovation and all the judges kind of rolled their eyes. Then he played and while he didn't win, he definitely changed their minds from when he first arrived.
Really a down to earth guy. He was competing while on tour if memory serves, and wound up showing up way later than he meant to and almost got himself DQ'd. Glad he didn't.
