[SOLD] Nickel Plasma Coated Railboard #6742
EDIT: SOLD I'm letting my Nickel plasma coated 10 string Railboard go, as it just hasn't gotten the amount (or quality) of playing it deserves. Absolutely beautiful instrument. Received brand new in January 2020 (I've been the only owner). Currently set up in Deep Matched Reciprocal. There are some scuffs on the R-Block and the belt hook from bumping the hardshell case. The stick's plasma coated body itself is basically invincible. Never gigged - these photos are actually the only time it's been out of either my house or office. Custom molded hardshell SKB case, shoulder strap, tools and deluxe CBI stereo cable included. It's my understanding that Stick Enterprises stopped offering the plasma coating option very shortly after I received my model - so here is a rare chance to own one of these beautiful instruments I'm asking $2,200 - shipping is included (CONUS only, sorry!). If you'd like the lap bar included (it's awesome!), please add another $40 to the price and I will ship it separately.

Re: FS: Nickel Plasma Coated Railboard #6742
I'm drooling. It's probably sold already believe me if I didn't have too many Sticks I would have thrown the cash down@ 3pm yesterday when I saw it. I could talk myself into buying it as an investment but I'm pretty sure it would never leave my grubby little paws. Never wanted a Railboard but that is just too cool...
I have to stop looking at this or I'm gonna get in my car and drive to Baltimore.

Re: FS: Nickel Plasma Coated Railboard #6742
Plasma Rail boards are the Holy Grail of sticks. Back when they were still offered by SE, I placed an order for a gold plasma grand rail board. Every three months or so I would call Cambria and ask for updates. After about a year or so the bad news hit regarding the plasma version being discontinued. I changed my order to a blue Grand Railboard. .... sigh.... those golden sticks are things of beauty

tb.taps - I need to know. How fast did it go? My girlfriend was even on the page for me getting it when she saw the pics.

Re: [SOLD] Nickel Plasma Coated Railboard #6742
Given what was being offered, I'm not surprised at all that it went so fast.
I am curious as to why SE has stopped doing the plasma Railboards. Not only are they beautiful, but it seems that the feel of the rails - particularly when string-bending - might be superior to the anodized aluminum.

There was an vendor issue for the process that stopped the plasma sticks
