For $1,800 this ten string can be yours. It isn’t a grand though....but for this low price....

if you are talking about the 10 string instrument with 12 string body,
i guess they are quite hard to find as 2nd hand
because it is relatively new instrument
and also i don't see too many buy it ( i never saw someone played on one)

i guess because the price of 12 string and 10 string grand is the same-and it is a factor !

Post Re: Want to purchase Chapman 10 String Grand
Robsmith:

I am considering selling my Chapman Stick XG (10 String Grand) in Graphite with Red Linear inlays. I believe it was one of the last (if not THE LAST) 10-String graphite sticks Emmett made. It's tuned in Baritone Melody and has the Roland GK-3 MIDI installed on the melody side. I have a stick stand, soft case, home-made lap bar, cable and two new sets of strings. I purchased the stick new in 2009 after a debilitating wrist injury ended my bass playing. I was hoping the stick could assist with my rehab, but unfortunately I've discovered that I simply cannot play the instrument without pain.

As Boaz implied, the 10-String Grand is quite hard to find and this one is extremely rare in it being graphite and the last of its' kind. It has always stayed in tune and is a phenomenal axe. I just can't stand to see it sit there unplayed. The stick is in mint (brand-new!) condition as it hasn't had even 15-20 hours of play.

Let me know if you're interested and I can upload pictures.

Thanks!
