Hi, i'm doing a gig soon where i will need to run my stick through my bass amp. The amp in question only has one input. Normally i would just plug the stick in mono, but the band wants me to use a wah pedal on the melody side. How can i go about running the two channels into my amp? Is there a simple way of doing this via a cable or would i have to get a little mixer and put the master output into the amp input. |

A small mixer is definitely better. You can use a Y-cable, but you will get weird interactions between the channels and it won't sound good. I have used a Boss Line-Selector successfully as a small 2-channel-mixer for the Stick for a long time. |

You can also use, as a cheaper/faster option, a ABY pedal just before the Amp input. |

For these situations, like when I have a lesson with a student and we both need to plug into the same amp, I've used one of these DOD 240 resistance mixers for years with good results: http://www.dod.com/accessories/accessories.htm Hope that helps. Zig Null |

A stereo effect pedal can work too. I use a Line 6 Echo Park . |

Thanks guys, I ended up going with a Morley ABY pedal. Hopefully it does the trick! |
