Not sure if I've posted this before , not as portable as above. I spend half the year effectively travelling with this gear. The Apogee DUET is outstanding like all Apogee Converters , not that cheap but I'll never need to change it on sonic grounds. Into a thin light MacAir running Logic and out to the Senhiesser Noise cancelling cans. Sounds Awesome and goes in a little backback.

I've traveled with this rig and my lap top... It should work with just a usb charger powering it, but it doesn't. But I always travel with my lap-top so that doesn't matter much.

I recorded in the past directly in my zoom H4n and the results are amazing. The setup we see here is only to avoid the headphones. This way you have a small monitor to practice at home without disturbing the others.
