allows you to play standing or sitting Thanks Boaz, I saw that - is that a specific kind of cymbal stand and arm attachment?

Re: TAGG 3.0
Hope everyone is well out there in Stick land.
Has anyone tried building their own Tagg style Stick mount? If so, how did it work out? Any tips for those who may want to try? Is anyone willing to take and post measurements of their Tagg mount?

Re: TAGG 3.0
Hi --
I don't have the skills to make my own TAGG-like... but luckily one of the guys where I take my basses and guitars did. It cost me $200 -- more than the TAGGs were going for previously, but the shop "couldn't make it up on volume" since they were only making one.
He didn't have a TAGG to work off of (indeed most of the guys had never seen a Stick before), so he worked off pictures I had found here on Stickist and a YouTube video.

I'll see if we can get an update on this.

Re: TAGG 3.0
hi everyone - just thinking about a stick stand and researching ideas - any update on the TAGG 3.0 or any other suggestions for stands that are available?? I already have the cymbal/snare stand so just need the head fitting to hold the stick. thanks, Garth

Re: TAGG 3.0
Hey there Garth, thanks for the inquiry. There has been some traction with efforts to reproduce the current TAGG and include some design changes that have been made by Steven Sawyer. Steven is part of the Michigan Stick mafia hehe and is very good with wood.
There is nothing commercially available but we're hopeful to have a prototype created, the blueprints and details of which would be open source. This is all currently speculation, but I'm hopeful to have more information in the new year.

Re: TAGG 3.0
Thanks Gene. I’m reasonably handy with Wood and have access to a 3-D printer so either option is possible for me too. I look forward to it. Thanks.
