The New Looper Thread
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcErq33I7RE
Guys, this is the looper I have imagined for years and I think that "Headrush" has knocked looping out of the park. 4 tracks, 4 inputs (that I believe are independent). The all important fade function, effects, USB import/export...The list goes on, and on... What thoughts do you all have(?) .jRj*j* .~

That looked like a lot of fun and very powerful. I'm gonna lust after it some more over at Musician's Friend and watch some videos.

Re: The New Looper Thread
There is not really that much information up on the net for this (yet). You can get a good idea though, enough to say that, for some of us anyway, this is a must have. There is a new Electroharmonix looper which to it's credit has six tracks but it is a toy compared to the Headrush... Anyway it seems that the advertising technique of modern times is to do a lot of promotional videos without actually having the units available . I guess one could get on the "pre-order" list . But just knowing something as sophisticated as this is just around the corner is comforting in some odd gear lust kind of way. I certainly don't need one, or do I? *j* .~ jRj

Re: The New Looper Thread
Well, if it's ONE pedalboard that does the job of the 2 I have already, and allows for my GR55 and my Boss DR880 to be input, looped and routed separately well... that totally beats my two Boss GT-100's, Roland GR55, and Boss DR880 setup that I currently have. It would be a lot less real estate... I am definitely looking to reduce my processing "footprint", but I really like what my stuff does hahaha
But does the Headrush looper have amp modelling? It looks like independent FX processing per input, but can you change patches on the fly via pedalboard?
Hmmm, maybe I'll contact the company and find out more about it, the videos are cool and they look like there is a lot of potential....

Would love to have the screen of the Headrush. Haven’t had a lot of time to play with it as I’m in the process of moving, but so far it’s really nice, playback is top notch. You can do more with it via MIDI as well.

Re: The New Looper Thread
Yes, the screen seems awesome. I saw another video that shows 4 tracks playing with different lengths but with a scroll bar keeping time with each track. I think that the EH looper will allow only one length per set of six loops. I am a little partial to the EH loopers in that I had a 2880 and in a moment of weakness was willing to sell it but then always regretted it. 4 tracks with a two track mix-down and really good sound quality but no memory. That was the "reason" I sold it. From there I have used the Boss loopers.

Re: The New Looper Thread
Too big for my rig, but I'm one to talk as I have yet to really dig into my Pigtronix Infinity looper.
Would love to see how you use it JRJ!
