Free Hands Friday #60 Tom Diaz
After taking a week off, FHF returns with 2 more installments of South American players - Tomas Diaz and Francisco Rafart! This Sunday at 11am PST, we'll be recording a session with Tomas Diaz. Tom is a self taught musician who has moved seamlessly into instruction. He is a music teacher at Sound Engineering School in Aiep Institute in Chile and part-owner of Franky Amps®. For those of you who don't know Franky Amps, do yourself a favor and give them a gander here. We have some options for hosts, as soon as I know I will post them here. If you have not already done so, be sure to add Free Hands Academy to your circles and let us know on this thread if you would like to be a part of the discussion. Hope to see you on Sunday at 11am PST - cheers.

I don't want to sound like a ragbag here but is it possible to know if its gonna be in english? Like FHF in general. The subtitle feature on youtube only works well with certain vids and not google hangout so far... I'd love subs if they were spot on. Maybe that can be a goal?
Cheers, no offense I like other other languages better thAN english. I learned to speak off world so my linguistics is mal aligned , sorry.

Re: Free Hands Friday #60 Tom Diaz
Hey Oceans. For the next 2 weeks, sessions are going to be mostly in Spanish. For the first time in a year, I blew out a Friday. I flaked on Tom and he was gracious enough to give me another shot today. We'll release this on Friday of next week and record Francisco Rafart next Sunday, June 28. I am working with Thomas to put together a program in French for either July or August. I am hopeful Olivier can make an hour available for us as well Yannick, Youenn and Bruno. I know more about women than I do the French language, but I love them both And then there are all the amazing Italian players too! We'll get back into some more programming in English soon enough. K Rex, Pascal Glanville and Jim Lampi are all on the shortlist of Chapman Stick personalities that we want to check in with. I'd also like to do a program, which might not wait for a Friday, on events going on in the Stick world (cds, videos and live events, etc.)

I'm going to try to make it today, though my Spanish is probably not conversationally string enough, I'll do my best.

Sweet! See I totally dig international players, and maybe if they speak into a mic direct in the closed captions can pick it up. You know what I mean? OR is that auto cc a joke?
