Here is the second installment of the FHF on the Source Audio Atlas. Especially for you my friend David Tipton - thanks for the PM and the kind words, you are so mighty and I hope that what I have learned along the way with this pedal serves you well.

thanks for posting that!
The source audio stuff is great for being able to route things dual mono etc (also cc and some knob assignment)
it's pretty consistent across the whole "one" series

It feels like they are making pedals FOR Chapman Stick players they are so versatile. Finally...

I wonder if anyone has tried the C4 Synth pedal?

One wishlist item I'd have is something they do a bit of as it is on, say, the ventris

Allow the toggle for choosing which channel/engine*the front panel is controlling instead of using the toggle for patch selection

Walrus instituted that on their amp sim

It would be a SW change and they typically have a control assign in the neuro app anyway - for all I know it could be a buried feature

hmm, I should write them, they've always been pretty responsive

*[usually it's the engine, but since you can assign a different engine to the channels, it can effectively work as channel]

I haven't. I never PERSONALLY seem to resonate with monophonic synth pedals .I suspect some of this is coming from classical guitar originally, so "what strings do" tends to be polyphonic for my internal world (yep, even pref gamaba to violin family)
somebody coming from wind or maybe bass probably has an easier time

but I fully see that as a personal hangup. I mean my first synth was a pro one and as far as synthesis itself - well the sound can be so harmonically dense that I get the case for monophonic

that being said, with string synthesis, I kind of find processing as opposed to pitch extraction gets one pretty far
so you may also want to check out the ultrawave (there's a lot of foldback distortion options etc in it)
and the Spectrum (it can apply some disto, octave dividing etc - though that can get a little monophonic too, before the filtering)

BTW, pal just emailed me that strymon came out with a new reverb pedal, apparently it does dual mono "split" -- don't know anything about it beyond that tho
but it looks like another company that is willing to do some dual mono

Gene,
Thanks for all that you do, and for turning me onto the Atlas Compressor! Your review and tips have been most helpful.

Yes that is the big sky Mx which is the next generation of their big sky reverb - they basically have two channels now that you can configure in various ways one being dual mono - it has an impulse response loader on it also which is interesting

I have the original Strymon Big Sky, Mobius and Timeline.
I watched the comparison video and still prefer the original.
