This Friday's Free Hands Friday #83 will be a bit on one of my favorite pedal manufacturer's, Nose Pedal! They were recently acquired by Westminster Effects and they do all kinds of fantastic custom work.
I'm hoping my friend Cody can join us for the session, but I am still checking his availability for this Friday. If you have any questions in advance, be sure to let me know - cheers.
Good morning Josh! Our sessions are much shorter now, only 15 minutes, so I want to give Cody plenty of time to tell us what he's up to. However, I have a TON of questions for you on the virtual cornucopia of drive pedals that you use and combine for your bitchen sound.
Who wants to hear Josh Goldberg talk fuzz, drive, dirt and feedback? Me! Of course, if there's something you'd like to try, ask me I won't say no, how could I? Let me know how you want to run it JG.
Great news! SongLearn September is looking up - David Tipton will be joining us for Landslide and possibly Mad World. I have a message into Kevin C - YO KEV, DROP ME A LINE.

Re: Free Hands Friday #83: Nose Pedal
I have confirmed that Cody Fields from Nose Pedal will be joining me this Friday. We'll focus mostly on the history of Nose Pedal and learn a little bit about what they have on the horizon with their pedalboard offerings and new custom pedals.
I'll share some of my personal experiences as a Stickist with some off-the-shelf offerings as well as the most recent custom pedal they made just for me, the Gene Perry signature Little Red Rocket !
Actually, I made up the part about it being a signature model, but I did pay for it, so that's what I'm calling it lol...
Please watch the youtube FHA channel for the new video this Friday. Cheers.
OH MAN, did we have a fun time with Cody Fields from Nose Pedal / Westminster effects!
Intelligent, good humored and fun at a party, what more could you ask for? We talked a little bit about the history or Nose Pedal and Westminster (which we'll run a separate program on) and got to know the man!
I showed off two of my current pedals, a 2 channel volume / mute pedal as well as my custom "Little Red Rocket" volume / mute / single channel loop pedal.
What I truly admire and appreciate about Nose Pedal is their commitment to quality and service as well as their good nature and appreciation of those that like to tinker with pedals. Cody is a real all-star and good things are on the horizon for him as he builds out the Nose and Westminster brands. If you haven't already done so, check out their offerings of unique pedals and pedalboards - classic style and form.
Stay tuned for a SongLearn session with David Tipton next week when we tackle Fleetwood Mac's "Landlslide. David will do a second session with us on the 8th as well - looking forward to more time with the man who helped launch Free Hands Friday!
Hey sorry bro.....busy times. Maybe I'll post it in YouTube instead of free hands, then post the vids here....if that's cool...I think I can get a better control on the video that way....
