Hi all;
I saw and heard a Chapman last night for my first time, just spent 2 hours on their website, and I have to get my hands on one!

Questions....
1. Anyone locally selling one or can let me see/touch?
2. What model and how many strings do I look for?
3. I play hard rock bass and guitar (have Steinberger basses - trade anyone?) so I am major transitioning. [ex: Zep, Arctic Monkeys. SRVaughn, Hendrix, ZZT, Zuccharo, Crowded House, Soulhat...]
I really am a very mediocre player, but still do gigs and have pro recorded. I have no idea as to a required skill-set musically, learning curve, or sound differences between the models so any feedback is very welcome.

Giancarlo, Stick player for The Matchsticks (drum+Stick duo), lives somewhere in Houston. I met his wife while playing in Rockport, and I bumped into his drummer when we did a show in Houston. Still haven't met Giancarlo! We do shows in Houston all the time. I'll check my calendar and see when our next Houston gig is.
