 Giancarlo Rocks! I'm sometimes asked if the Chapman Stick can rock. Ha! I always show them Giancarlo. Here are two recent videos of him in concert with a drummer. Our version of a power trio. Re: Giancarlo Rocks! Awesome. I met him about 15 years ago at the home of Jim Kam in Houston. He had that same 12 string (7+5) grand back then. The only 7+5 I've ever seen...

Re: Giancarlo Rocks! Yeah I wish there were more players doing real rock & roll on Stick. It would be pretty easy for a guy like that to cover ZZ Top type material and I'll bet he can do that and more. From what I've seen he's a real "4 sets a night in a bar" working musician. Anyone seen him play bass? He plays bass left handed and Stick right handed. Go figure. It does make a certain kind of sense tho.

Re: Giancarlo Rocks! Love the Matchsticks! I hope to see them live sometime. San Antonio is a lot closer to Houston than Dallas. A power trio with just two guys - you gotta love it.
