 Railboard arrives today Just got to share the news, after a wait of 7 months, I've just seen the magical words on the UPS tracking web page "out for delivery" I'll be waiting by the door all day!

Re: Railboard arrives today Thanks all for your kind comments. Three instant observations:- 1) OMG the Railboard looks great in pictures but looks even more amazing in real life. 2) didn't expect it to be soooooo heavy. It's probably because I'm not used to wearing an instrument in this fashion. 3) having never touched a stick before I wonder if I will be able to play it? It's totally alien to anything I've ever played before. I think a Skype lesson with Greg is a total must in order to get off on the right foot. Re: Railboard arrives today Absolutely stunning!!! WOW! and you are right, Skype lessons with Greg will catapult you quicker into playing than anything. I also suggest getting his Basic Free Hands DVD. It is chock full of really wonderful information and exercises from one of the most authoritative voices on the instrument and educators as well. As Mr. Howard would say… "Happy Tapping"!
