Hi everyone...I do have a GK3 on my stick but I don't use it and I won't. I bought it used and it was already installed. My question is: is it possible to leave it without damaging my stick? I prefer to play the real sound of my stick...don't need anything else but a bit of reverb. If you have any ideas about that. I can send you some pics. If I succeed, maybe I could sell it at a low price. I'm looking for a soft case...maybe a trade without money...well...we'll see. |

Took my off years ago , no problem. Leaves two small holes on one side and one small hole other side and remove the damper below nut on melody side. |

I did it in less than 30 min and these holes are really small. Maybe I'll just let it the way it is. |

You already have your answer, but as reinforcement I'll add that my Graphite had a GK3 when it was offered for sale. I wasn't interested in MIDI so I offered the seller a reduced price for the instrument with the GK3 removed (which he then sold separately). As stickfingers wrote teh GK3 comes off cleanly. just leaving a couple of small & unobtrusive holes that don't bother me at all. |
