Post Chris Cain Stick-e-Lessons
Hi Y'all. I've just downloaded Chris lessons of his website & wanted to encourage everyone to check them out if You have'nt done so already.

I've found his lessons to be graded in a very helfull, simple & thorough way & this has helped me to develope my facility quickly, especially in regards to 4 finger right hand technique.

As He says, the lessons are aimed at getting the adult Stickist to develope quickly & I am getting tremendous results already in the first 24 hours.

I'm sure You've already recognised the inherent virtue in any of the available Stick books & I feel that to develope ourselves we have to view any of our mentors publications as contributions in the wider pallette of "colours" & approaches, just like any other instrument, as we build on our library of resources.

Thanks again Chris & I hope to see U play one day "in the flesh".

Radkon

Thanks Radkon for the kudos. Its always nice to know when a Stickist has gained some satisfaction from my eLessons. These kinds of comments are usually sent to me privately, but reading a public post like yours is especially gratifying.

Post Re: Chris Cain Stick-e-Lessons
Hey Radkon ... I have, a few mins ago, ordered Chris' eLessons (I believe he is also throwing in his new CD as a freebee!). Waiting eagerly for his email with the download links. Given that you have been using that resource for some time now .... any tips on how to go abt? My background is essentially hand drumming (Tabla/Cajon/Djembe) & have never gone anywhere near a guitar/stringed instrument :? ... any tips will be gratefully accepted :) !

Cheers,
Uday
