Hmmm essential you say? Well, there is no genuine art which I don’t think worth a listen… and I haven’t heard everything. But if I were to recommend “chapman stick” recordings they would be these Greg Howard -Stick Figures… the album where Greg really found his musical voice. Timeless and beautiful. Also the greatest collection of “stick” repertoire ever recorded Emmett Chapman - Parallel Galaxies…. This really shows what an amazing musician Emmett was… to this day no one phrases like him wonderful improvisations There are others of course but to me these two are the most essential Brett |
