Re: what tuning do you use?
I reckon I'll be requesting having mine set up with Mirrored 4th (thanks Rob) With the bass starting on B, and I'll have to think further about exactly what to have at the bottom end of the melody side. This choice is because I'll need to being unisoning guitar/basslines frequently, so for ease of taking a part from one instrument to the stick, 4ths is the best option in my eyes.

Hey Thor, without wanting to come across as a 'tuning fascist'...imho, by not trying a 5ths/4ths tuning out, you'll be missing a little of what the Stick is about (with respect, Rob has slowly migrated towards the tuning that works for him, iirc). I came in thinking of the Stick as guitar+bass (that's the main reason I chose 'MR', i.e. almost familiar BEADGC...like I thought it would matter). Now I think of it more like a piano...and it has been a slow realisation. Initially it was even tempting to incorporate the guitar's maj 3rd interval...now the last thing I want it to be is...erm...Guitarresque

Re: what tuning do you use?
I use: 12-String Classic - high bass 4th. Love the high bass 4th for those big easy drone chords.

I use 10 string Matched Reciprocal. I would love to get/try a 12 string high bass min3 though.

Re: what tuning do you use?
I tried both Classic and MR and settled on Classic (10-string). I guess I'm not really that much of an "overlap player", so I never got into BM.
I am ordering an Alto Stick, but haven't decided on the tuning yet.
Cheers, Andy

Re: what tuning do you use?
Using Deep MR and staying with it. Should "Deep" be a separate votable option, not just a modification? EG
