Hello all!

Love it Kevin. Great technique all round, but the way you use that thumb is especially neat
Thank you! I'm currently experimenting with different ways to create percussive sounds to enhance the energy of a performance. This video and song shows a bit of that evolution.

That's gospel? I'd go to that church (for the music)
Lol! You know It's amazing to see the progression of gospel music over time. The basic feel of this tune is kind of a throwback to the old gospel songs that my grandmother would sing around the house. I've fused it with a bit of funk to emulate the new urban gospel sound. Thanks for your reply!

The story of my life seems to be a non typical approach! Lol!
I hear these sounds in my head so I try to use my hands to bring the sounds to the three dimensional world. It's tough to get it right but it always gives me something to strive for. Thank you for your reply!

Wow! Really cool!
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! When I get these ideas I'm never sure if it's going to make sense to the listener. Comments, (whether positive or negative) are extremely valuable to me because they are like guard rails for my imagination. As a composer Internal emotion and external feedback are invaluable tools for growth.
Thanks again for watching and listening!
