I started this song during the summer vacation on a laptop, using a limited set of plugins and computer keyboard. Later during the fall at my home studio it kept growing and eventually I got to recording the Stick parts as well.
The middle long-note melodies are the Stick with e-bow and additional swells are played with a cello bow:

Here I'm giving up playing two parts at the same time for a moment, to have different fingering options for an arpeggio section:

Very nice Kaspar. Thanks for sharing. There are some interesting pratice ideas on your youtube channel too.

PS, I've updated your entry on my Stickists list to include your youtube & soundcloud channels which I didn't have before.

I checked out the arpeggios first on fb, then I just pulled up the whole enchilada (that's an American euphemism) and I DIG IT. There's so much "progressive" stuff out there that just doesn't sit with me, but I always find your stuff fun. Emmett would be proud. Great!
P.S. I tried out the E-Bow for about 5mins & it didn't sit with me. Maybe I didn't give it a fair shake. But I just moved and the bow popped up and I FOUND THE ROSIN TOO so I might just be trying a little long-note practice. Thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks so much for the kind words!

The e-bow can be fiddly :) First of all it's for guitar string spacing. I tried to file the grooves more in according to the Stick, but didn't manage to do a very good job, but it's manageable.
The placement is also crucial both e-bow and regular bow as it's very easy to get overly nasal sounds.

Happy bowing!

Do any of you videos show your use of the e-bow, Kaspar? If so I must have missed it.

Only briefly in KaarLeek:

In TopuFall you can hear on SoundCloud it in the long note melodies, but it's not in the video.

Got it. Thank you.

PS. I don't think the youtube2 tags like time stamped URLs?
The time stamp was however handy for me as a human user. :)
