The Castle Of The King Of Birds (Lennon, McCartney, Harrison,Starr)
I've been facinated by this song since I heard a snippet played on The Beatles "Get Back" documentary.

Short and sweet! Beautiful sound and well played. Excellent stereo panning sound.

Great tone.....do you use a special pedal to get that sound?

Sounds like tremolo, reverb, maybe a little chorus?

Thanks so much! It was just a GarageBand plugin called Dyna-Trem. The Stick was in mono so both sides are effected exactly the same way

You use it very well to create a very nice sound. Thank you.

It was the first time I'd heard the track in any form so far as I'm aware? I 'only' have all the 'standard' Beatles albums, i.e. up to the breakup (plus 'Let It Be - Naked' which on the whole I prefer to the original release, but I'm happy to listen to both).

Macca eventually included this tune in a soundtrack album he did for the Rupert the Bear animated cartoon. Apparently, the album was not released. Here is a bootleg version of the fleshed out track:

YouTube notes:

A bootleg of Paul McCartney's finished studio version of "Castle of the King of the Birds," which was jammed on during the Get Back sessions and finished up for the unreleased "Rupert The Bear" album. Features an edit at the end to loop it back to the very beginning and fade out to pad runtime.
