A million brands of fantasy, each as unique as each French face. So much talent in one country. I was there for the AFSTG Seminar in 2005 but I never got to hear Jo Ruffier actually play. What a surprise, art and entertainment intertwined. (They said it couldn't be done.)

I’m surprised because he played (and sing) this year with Youenn Landreau and Jim Lampi:
He is the one who sing & play « sur la plage » on your brother Dan documentary:

Thanks Yannick, for posting that hot jazz performance and the segment of Dan's documentary. I guess I didn't realize at the time that Jo was the main catalyst of that big band arrangement.
If I remember correctly, you were the driver in that small car as I was telling Pascal Gutman about my times with Barney Kessel.
And now with your new posted "clownish" video, I should be able to identify Jo's music anywhere. He likes to swing a lot!

Oh My Goodness a triple-Stick fronted band with horns! Wowee Zowee! Thank you for posting that I think that's my favorite of 2017.

Yes, I was this little guy who co-drive Pascal Gutman’s car. I grew up: no more glasses...nor hair
Jo can also sing more melancholic songs like this one:
But it’s true he likes grooving with fun (here with another band he formed after Tarace Boulba when he moved to south of France):
