This video was shot last August, and released today...for The Empty Room Series season 3 from Regina's Creative City Centre. I'm very thankful to be a part of it.
Rebuild the Ancient Ruins - a short mediation reflecting on the potential blessings or curses of following age old traditions. The piece is included on the album “First Contact” from 2016.

Really enjoyed it , Some beautiful little nuances in there catching my ear, thought I heard a chord like strum twice. Anyway , nice aesthetic to the video also, I always enjoy watching someone who looks physically engaged with the instrument & enjoying it.  Cheers , B

Man I wish I could whistle. Tune! Thanks all. I rarely perform this one. But it received a small bit of attention from the Canadian community radio circuit, probably due in part to the modest time length. Thus, I recorded it for this series. The studio version: I played the tune straight through with no overdubs. Then I went over the entire tune three times, each with a different effect and mixed each way into the background. One layer was me whistling the entire tune...got the idea from Miles Davis "Little Church" from Live Evil (awesomely eery). It's difficult to perform while whistling the entire tune, so in this video I just whistled during the chorus sections. Studio version on Soundcloud below:
