Re: Parasite finished !
Just right for me, like immersion in warm water, well, electric water. Stimulates the nerve ends. Love the total concept - mainstream vanguard AND uniquely styled. The drums are battling, then skipping/soaring over the battlefield. Blazing Stick lead lines over "math-rock" rhythms - a new living jazz ethic (minus the orthodoxy).
Did MB play and overdub all these parts himself? Bowed strings too? Certainly not the drums!
Great place for Stick, and for my ears on a Sunday morning. Now for a "Ten-String Grand" in MB's hands(?) Bowed violin at the outer melody string, bowed viola and cello at the outer bass string, bowed bass at the middle - a three-string chamber quartet, plus all the fire of two hands tapping.
Thanks for the music! Emmett

Re: Parasite finished !
thanks for all the kind words and colorful feedback. I am playing a 12 string grand stick for the bass and solos, guitar, a v drum set combined with a live one and my good friends Mike Schirmer (bass clarinet) and Caryn Fitzgibbon (violin) added some help with the bowed stick support in the foundation. I started out on drums so i usually start with those then paint over it with melody and build up from there. Thanks again ,,,pass it on.
