Request for part 2: your Ableton Live setup - routing, tracks, scenes, i/o, sends/returns, and your live looping setup as well. I'd be very interested in seeing this. |

Roland Hex technology will always be a part of my rig and my music. All my Sticks have hex pickups. Thank you for asking and thanks for watching! I try to keep my Ableton setup powerful but as intuitive as possible. Once I'm on stage the goal is to focus on the instruments and the music. If I'm successful at that then i've implemented the technology properly. It did take a while to get it to that point though! Hi Kevin, Very interesting - thanks for making this. Some time ago, I recall you saying you used frequency-specific compression on the bass side. I can’t remember the exact term for it. Did you achieve that by using the Dbx160 or some other approach - another effect? Would be interested to know. Thanks again for sharing this! |
