So last March my band GEPH (me on Stick, John Tyler Kent on Stick, and Josh Merhar hitting the skins) put out our self titled debut album on a shoe string budget. It's been an insane year and we saw positive attention from all over the world, taught people about the Stick at a conservatory program, and played shows and festivals on the album from the border of Canada all the way down to southern New Jersey. Most recently, we got put on It Djent's best instrumental albums of 2016 list alongside some of the biggest names in progressive metal, including Plini and Sithu Aye.
We've been busting ass in our rehearsal space riding this amazing momentum and writing our new album. You may have caught the live performance video of one of our new songs, Get Your Insignificance On around these parts. Now, we're ready to head back into the studio and record our next album. The music on this one blows our first out of the water, if I may be so bold. This time, we'll be working with an excellent studio and producer in Boston.
We've managed to record one song, "Whole Body Headbang," and you can check it out in the video below. It's a great example of the quality we'll be working at. However, studios are expensive, so we've launched a crowd funding campaign to help us see this through. We've got a ton of awesome rewards for donations, and we've already raised over $1,000 in the very first day. We're very, very excited to see where we can take it, and you can check out the campaign at https://igg.me/at/geph.
I hope you dig the music, and thank you so much in advance for your help.

Re: GEPH's new album!
Awesome tune, Josh, enjoyed "Whole Body Headbang" immensely! Good production on this; I hope you get the same quality going forward. Popped into your Indiegogo site and slid some bread in the jar to get you a bit further.
I will apparently be getting a preview release copy of the album for my $10, so cheers and thanks! Best of luck and can't wait to hear how it comes out!

I'm a sucker for behind the scenes documentary-style promos that show live studio recordings and that are also pleas for money. Loved this vid on the indiegogo site. Hope you don't mind me sharing it here too.
