If you can just port this over to a BlackBerry, we're solid.

FretBoard 1.6 hit the AppStore today. I redesigned the chord section, because there were some important things missing, and it was horrible to find the chord you are in search of. So this version should be a great step forward. 68 chords are included now, still 82 scales, and no less that 141 instrument tunings. So your Stick tuning should also be contained... ;-)

Just got the update. Is there any way to have linear markers on the SB8 at the Stick locations instead of bass locations?

Not trying to sound whiney, I like the app. Just wondering if I was missing an option somewhere.

Thanks!
Rich

Rich,

sorry, there is no option to switch this. The positions are fixed for each tuning. On stick.com you only find SB8 with bass marker patterns, this is why I thought these are the correct positions. If you like I can add the SB8 tunings with stick pattern in the next version.

Don't worry about it. If it was something easy, I'd do turn on the option. It would be nice, but not worth the effort. Appreciate the offer.

Thanks!

Hello!
A wonderful app and one of the first I picked up right after getting the iPhone. My pastor was floored at your inclusion of tunings for the Churango, an instrument he picked up while in Bolivia a few years ago!

Thanks again for your hard work here.

Thanks for the kind words Ian! It would be nice if you can also write these as a review in the AppStore. This will help to spread the word.

By the way, yesterday v1.7 was released in the AppStore. This version adds iOS4 compatibility. Next version will be even more surprising... ;-)

Thanks,
Marc

Hey all you Stickists using my software!
It would be very kind if you could rate FretBoard and FretBoard LE in the AppStore, or even post a small review in the AppStore. Just to spread the word.

Further, if you find any bugs, quirks or unexpected behavior, or if you just have an idea how to enhance these apps, please just let me know. As you might know the Stick community is the community I like best... :-)

A great Sunday evening to you all!

TheMM
