Hi all, The website http://www.greghoward.com is alive and well. Currently it has been revamped just a bit with mostly the same information as before. As time moves forward, the hope is to really focus on celebrating both Greg's music as well as his contributions to the Stick pedagogy. Cheers!

Man! I completely forgot about this video that Steve Balogh shot back in 2011 at the Ground Level in Toledo. I'm embarrassed to say that I don't remember how to play this and I don't even remember the title. I do remember enjoying playing this one quite a bit though.

Certainly an interesting idea. It's likely you'd only be able to get away with it on the lower pitched strings though as the higher strings would be pitched way too high.

For me the SoftStep is just a bit problematic if you're looping. The switches are soft (hence the name ;) ) so if you're doing loops where the timing is real critical, it can be hard to get them just right.
