Hi Rob, are you shure? Phantom power should work just as well if you're using a balanced jack. I don't know if it will power the railboard pickup cause I've never tried it (mine hasn't arrived yet) but, as in a regular balanced patch bay, phantom power passes thru it just fine. very usefull info. i'm going to Mallorca stick seminar this summer and was quite nervous about arguing wheter i can get the stick inside the cabin I imagine that the final flight conections to the island, will be full of guys with a stick on their backs :) Mine will be from Barcelona to Mallorca :)...

Thought that looked familiar.... One of the starting things on the double bass is that we don't use the 4th finger, or better, we use the 3rd and 4th always together as one, as the 4th finger is usually too weak to handle most of the things... The result id that we always use combinations like 1-2; ...
