My Ironwood #1212 is tuned 1/2 bari (here I go again, it's half-way between bari and deep, w/ C octave in the center) I agree it's sweet, darker, and just far enough out of the Bassment from my DBR 12-string to lighten up my eccentric curiosities. -Marty "The present day composer refuses to die...

After reading that, Greg, about mirrored 4ths on DBR i thought about it... for about 30 seconds. Bass in 5ths is too cool for chords and i can getaround just fine. well, not really, but "practice makes practice easier"

When I had my restaraunt and my staff saw me coming to a boil, they would quick put a quarter in the juke and blast "Witchitaw Lineman" by Glen Cambell. I'd start singin and calm down immediately. I think it's that ..."I need a small vacation..." line. Marty
