Take the plunge. Get the Stick. You will be catapulted into the 4th Dimension and be amazed/frustrated at what you can/cannot do (right now) on the instrument. Still finding my voice and i seem to speak in many tongues...

I don't know if this counts as Teflon, but I just put an extra set of Stick melody strings on my Pedulla 5-string fretless. It sure is slippery.

I remember the newsletter when it was introduced. Wanted one immediately. Glad I waited till I grew up and got my 12-string DBR. Much more room for wrong notes.
