RECAP: Free Hands Friday #74 The TAGG Interface
Hope everyone had a great weekend. FHF#74 is in the books. A good learning session on learning how to use the TAGG Interface. We talked a little bit about the inventor of the TAGG, John Taggart, and his history as a guitar tech and Luthier as well as some learning lessons we've had with the interface as long as we have been using them (them being Kevin-c and myself).

We also talked a little bit about the U-8 and how many principles do and don't apply to how we approach the Stick. Similar to the NS Stick, it's just a different bird altogether.
Lastly, we got a few minutes with Tyler from GEPH. We learned about what's coming up this summer in terms of live shows and that there is already talk about new music and a new album.
The Stick life, it's good.
Hope you enjoy watching as much as we enjoyed rattling on about it - cheers. - Gene

Good session guys! Great device...I urge you all to buy one....at the same time heeding the caveats we brought forward during the chat. Keep your kids away from it, dont use it in high wind conditions, don't accidentally knock it over.....know a tiny bit about physics and fulcrums.
I gotta check my swearing on these sessions...I often forget this goes public.....eheh.
John Kent discussed some cool Geph stuff. Please buy their record.....its frickin awesome.
cheers, k-roc

The swearing adds a little character! All good Kevin, was glad to see how you were using it. Painting it black is pretty awesome, I'll have to see what John thinks about painting them.
Fulcrums and physics, killing me...
GEPH is rad. Geph some for yourself.

Scott....yes, I think anyone could build one...as long as you have some wood skills...Andy could 3D print one but it would take a hell of a lot of plastic.
Randy....a lightning strike may be bad,.....but it has benefited some folks in the past...I've been struck once in the head, I can now speak mandarin without any previous experience.
Paint it black.....I follow Micks advice.. If you drape a black backdrop around the tagg and let it flow down around the Cymbal stand, it makes the stick appear to float in space as you're playing.....kind of a neat treat..
cheers, Kfed

Lightning strikes. Guys, we're playing a stringed instrument that's directly connected to an electrical source...pointing up...and how about the RAILBOARD? Don't take gigs on golfcourses.
