I'd be scared to eat THAT mushroom. Whatever vision you stepped into, you might never come back.
I've got a bunch of stuff worked out by hand for fractal music but I've never actualized it. It has felt to me like fractals went out of style musically. But maybe I'll post some stuff up when I get settled. My life is still up in the air.

The visuals are pretty bizarre, it's neat stuff.

Re: "Fractals" and Fractal Animation Videos
I keep forgetting that cheap server stuff gets dumped on the Intertoobs and Ebay all the time. For $195 plus 30 bucks shipping, I just added 24 cores to the fractal render farm. I saw this on Ebay (HP Proliant DL165 G7 server- 2 x 12 core AMD Opteron 6172, 32GB RAM, 160GB HD) and bought one, and maybe another one next month if it works out. Supposed to be quiet and pulls a Cinibench score over +1300, which rivals the +$1000-chip alone in the X5960 8-core that's been my main workhorse so far. I can stack these servers, and put them in a corner, and they're supposed to be quiet and power efficient. It comes with everything but an OS, and I'm strongly thinking of going Linux--maybe Ubuntu or whatever. I've got music to make, so I'm not messing too much with (re-)learning Linux if I can help it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/222001914149I know many of you mess with this server stuff for a living--I'm sure there might be better deals or chips. I thought the bang for the buck was outstanding for two 12-cores at 2-ish Ghz for under $200.

Re: "Fractals" and Fractal Animation Videos
Here is a relevant picture with fractal properties..?/..umm ,well it analyzes pictures and then shows its true(acid tripping) reality via some advanced- algorhythm- hyperspace- concept. Guess who this is! I can give clues if needed. I have some revelations on this as well.. Cheers
