If you can read at the later beginner level (having gone through the first two or three volumes of Mikrokosmos, for instance), you might want to try Oscar Petersons' book, Jazz Exercises, Minuets, Etudes, & Pieces for Piano. It covers the late beginning and intermediate levels.

This looks excellent MM. I tried the Mikroksomos having studying with Don for a couple of years as this was one of his favs too. This looks more melodically rewarding IMHO.
