Re: Stick Talk
Nice work, Gene! Yet another incentive for me to finally learn how to read music.

Re: Stick Talk
Rad, looking at this again - I'm not certain what you're saying as I have checked this and it looks legit.

It was late and I was probably making shit up. I'll have another look tonight. Love the koala meme. So good to have you back with the big shares.

Re: Stick Talk
Oh, I see it now.
So it's just that the second G in the second measure is played and octave lower than written. It makes a lot more sense to play it that way, as going the full octave higher is obviously way too much like hard work.
No big deal, I was just curious.
Thanks for talking us through the harmonic thing with Bach, it feels good to use that muscle again.

Re: Stick Talk
Me again.
If it weren't for you GP I wouldn't be tying this thing now. It's the first time I've properly tried playing any Bach.
So thank you!

Re: Stick Talk
Gene, at 7:06 (measure 14) on bass side you play an arpeggio B D F# (= Bmin) instead of the B D G (which is the G/B that Rob Gellner wrote). In my opinion that sounds a bit strange ...
I will probably post a few tries in the next few days, on the ("Tenor"-) Alto and the Full Bari Stick.
