Video Grab, Stick & Sax.
Been home 3 days , only managed two performances so far !! New venue last night, a guy I have run into before turned up with his sax. I used the Alto mainly but this is just a short grab with the Grand from someones phone mic. I just played around a I, VI, II , V and he joined in. It was good fun but the stage sound was tricky to deal with in terms of how well I could hear the melody side. All good experience though, met a bunch of new people , very tidy bluesy guitarist in the house band was playing a red " Parker Fly" which I've never seen in the flesh before, nice instrument & a little unique. The night before was the opposite sound wise, best I've ever had on a stage , my new little pedal board worked a treat ,foldback was great , including the vocals, it was like I was at home in the studio . Nice

Nice! You know, I’ve found that soundpeople can be interesting cats at times... I always try to have the ability to make myself comfortable, especially onstage. Some folks “get” that it’s a stereo instrument, but pretty much everyone who does sound for my Stick is a bit wierded out at first due to the range, both dynamic and note- availability... I almost always get lumped in with the extended range guitar guys...

Only 43 seconds, d'hell is that!
You're giving confidence to strangers on stage .... anything could happen. Your playing gives inspiration to my feet to move towards more practice and playing.
Hey, you know the thing with balance on the melody side. After buying a MXR bass compressor, and then not using it very much, lol, it occurred to me that using the volume controls on the pick ups is a solution.
