Post Houston and such
Wishing all the folks in the Houston area safe times.
I continue to get updates from 3 of my Houston students. They are safe. For me, a different but familiar scenario as we lost our home in Hurricane Sandy in 2012. I always remember the generosity of the Stick community during my recovery. Do what you can to help the people of Houston.

Yeah, the impact has been fast and hard for those on the ground in Houston. I know a few Texan Stickists, who do we know is in the Houston area - and - how can we help?

Post Re: Houston and such
I moved from Houston to Doha, Qatar in July, found out today that my (old) house was quite badly flooded. I'm obviously relieved from a selfish perspective but deeply sad for friends and colleagues who are going through it. The school I worked at is ok.
Several instrumental teachers who work at the school have pretty much lost their homes, one has had their Bosendorfer Grand utterly destroyed.

Sad times.
