Post Jim Lampi website down?
Anyone have any news about Jim Lampi? Looks like his sight is down?
Haven't heard much from him in regards to new music. Greazy and Young Lions are some of my favorite CD's. Anyone have any news or is that is aquainted with him have any feedback?

I'm quite often in touch with him. He's fine. His website has never been an updated media for his musical activities i think. He recently told me that he's thinking about recording some new stuff. And he will take part in a two days stick gathering in London with Pascal Glanville, organized by Ian Rogerson.

Awesome! I got to have a semi-private lesson with him at the 2003 World Stick Seminar in San Jose. It was amazing! Looking forward to some new music for sure!

Thanks for the update.

Too kind ;) I should record more, I'm still currently working on writing some new tunes. I'm about to have a whole set of long dark and depressing songs

BTW, PCgonzales, there's a topic dedicated to Jim Lampi, check it out if you didn't see it already : http://www.stickist.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=522&hilit=lampi

I love that other thread so much! A perfect compendium of Lampi. His expressive sound really stands alone
