Greg. Do you know how long one would have to wait for a NS now adays?

Hi Jan,

I think it's only a couple/few months, depending on production runs. Check with SE to be sure. Actually, on all of their instruments the waits are shorter these days.

I'm planning to buy an NS/Stick,i love it soo much, but i see that it has 2 new improved stuffs:
the Bamboo and the Fret Rails. My doubt :? is : does the new Rails will work fine with the traditional techniques(picking, plucking, strumming)as the previous Jumbo guitar frets? or,do the new NS instruments will be more toward the Stick "touch instrument philosophy" and less toward their multi-mode instrument nature?
it's very important for me to understand this matter, cause i'm just choosing the NS for its multi-mode instrument features.
does anyone have been experienced with the new rails on the NS?how they work compared to the old jumbo frets?
thanks a lot in advance

Dario

Hey Dario -

Follow the link to Don's comments on StickWire that Greg posted earlier--it looks like Don had a very favorable impression both plucking and tapping.

I was thinking I could get a used NS/Stick, but due to a hold up on a refund it seems like I'm going to miss my chance at the one I was hoping for. Is the bamboo/rails combo worth buying new for a few extra hundred dollars, or should I try and locate another used one? (new is also good as I can put it on a card and get it now ;) )

Greg,

Can a new NS be ordered with the green/turquoise line-thingys instead of pearl dots?

Does anyone know the answer to this question? Also, how many production runs are there per year?

The Price List no longer has an Order Form for the NS/Stick.
Are these still available?
Thanks!

Because there aren't the same set of options for the NS, an order form hasn't been added to the site, but that's a good idea to have one.

OK, so I have a question...
Could you put Matched Reciprocal tuning on an NS/Stick?
I thought I had seen a post on that, but can't find any info now.
Any pics, impression, etc. greatly welcomed.

Also, are there any pics of a new style 1/2 fretless NS yet?
And could you go 1/2 fretless on MR tuning on an NS?

Finally, someone asked earlier what the cost would be for full fretless.
Curious myself, though that's a beast I wouldn't try to tame right now...

So many thoughts...

Thanks!

~M
