Considering trading 12-String Grand for 10-string
Hey all,
I have a Paduak 12-string Grand that I am looking to trade out for a 10-string.
I am the third owner of this instrument, which is in excellent condition. I purchased it off of eBay in ~July. The instrument was manufactured in late 2005 / early 2006, all information on the instrument was confirmed and verified with Yuta and Cambria at SE. No scratches and no wear on the fretboard.
The instrument has rails, black linear fret inlays (the image had dots that the previous owner had placed on the fretboard), an ACTV-2 pickup (fresh 9v) and all the bells and whistles of a Stick that was manufactured at the time - black strap, all black hardware and the latest rev of truss rod. With the exception of the inlay, this instrument is similar to Greg Howard's Paduak Grand.
This instrument was setup and remade into a masterpiece of wood and metal by Emmett in August of this year with a matched Reciprocal tuning and has his initials dremmeled into the back (EHS). Bonus.
The instrument comes with a hardshell ATA cases. More bonus.
What do I expect as a trade? To start, a 10-string with an ACTV-2 is $400 less than it's 12-string counterpart. So, ideally the deal would include: 1. 10-String Chapman Stick in working condition 2. ACTV-2 or PASV-4 pickup 3. MIDI 4. Soft shell case
I know what I want, but I am open to suggestions! If you are looking to purchase a 12-string, any reasonable offer will be considered.
If you have a 10-string you have been looking to upgrade to a 12-string, let me know and thanks so much for your consideration.
