Post Proteus/1 & Proteus/2 for sale
Hey there, I was about to list my Proteus/1 & Proteus/2 for sale on Ebay. But...I wondered if any MIDI Stickists (or anybody that reads this forum) might be interested in them.

I recently fired them up and ran the demo sequences and they both seem to be in working order. They have a lot of sounds. Seems they sell for around $100 or so these days. Anyone want to make an offer.

BTW I have one of the original boxes, and the manuals.

I can post pics if you are truly interested. I'll take $150, plus shipping, for the pair if someone acts quickly. I believe the Proteus/3 was the WORLD model. I is sorta Pop/Rock, 2 is "Orchestral."

I bought Proteus 1 right at the release back in the days. Excellent palette of sounds! I still use some of them (as samples in software DAW's) and all those sounds bring many nice memories when I hear them in tunes on the radio etc.

Yes Per reminds me, I had a couple of clients who turned up at the studio with a proteus in its its early days, was a pretty handy box of sounds. No doubt still useful too!

I seem to remember the X-Files using a lot of Proteus sounds.
