Post 10 string Red Oak Stick in Belgium (EU)
If anyone in the EU is looking for a 10-string Stick, I recommend this ad:

Not mine. However, I have had contact with the seller and he assures me that everything is in perfect condition. The price is also reasonable considering the madness that currently prevails on the secondary market. Unfortunately, the seller doesn't ship. You would have to drive to him to pick it up. However, access from neighboring countries should not be a problem.

That is a very reasonable price. Well done Belgian Stick seller...

I've recently been helping a guy via email who inherited a Stick from his late father. It's very similar to this Red Oak #753. It's Rosewood #1111, with MIDI pickup on the melody side, and shoulder bag (no hard case).

He just posted it on Reverb. And against my price suggestion, he went way higher. I'm still trying to convince him to come down. It's a 34", 1995-ish Stick for crying out loud.

But, reverb has such a large audience, someone will pay that, I guess...

The best thing is that a special Chapman Stick category has been created on reverb.com in ..... Keyboard & Synths ;)

In the current market that's a bit on the 'pushing it' side but not as massively so as some try, especially to a UK buyer (since no 20% duty/tax to pay as there would be on any import)?

As you write it could quite likely find a buyer at that. Depends on how long they wish to wait. A few hundred less & it would likely be quicker (naturally!).

PS. No, I'm not interested in it.

Pushing it. That's what I was thinking. But I didn't consider the duty/tax (20%!). So yeah, maybe this is slightly fair.

Ha! I figured so. Although. did mention you (not by name) in our emails, saying you might know of someone who was interested.
