Post WTB: Soft case for 34" instrument
I realise it may be a long shot, but I think I'd like to get a soft case for a 34" Stick - it's a 12-string if that matters, although I think it hardly does.

Mainly looking to buy within the EU if possible, to avoid customs fees and other trouble. I'm in Sweden.

If someone has anything laying around that you don't use/need, let me know.

If you can't find what you are looking for, maybe think outside the box?
There are plenty of padded tactical rifle cases on the market.

They usually fold out flat when opened. If they are not the right dimensions, find someone with a sewing machine and fold the case inside out and sew it to the proper depth, then trim off the portion that is no longer needed.

PS: I use an inexpensive chinese cobbler sewing machine to make whatever I need.

For what it's worth ... when I ordered a soft gig bag for my 34" scale instrument from SE (many many years ago), Emmett had already started making 36" scale instruments and just sent me a bag for one of those. It fit fine and I didn't even realize it until I picked up a 36" instrument a few years later and realized the bags were identical.

A 36”-scale 10-string is the same length as a 34”” 12-string because the headstock on the Grand is longer.

So any case that would work for a 36” scale 10-string would work for you.

Hope that helps.

Thanks everybody for your comments. Yeah, I guess 34" was a superfluous requirement, of course a current case that fits a 36" also fits a 34", and if they're actually identical, then it's completely moot ;)

I actually used a rifle case at one point, years back. It eventually broke, I don't remember if the zipper failed or something else, and also the foam inside got pretty roughed up by the bridge and nut screws being a bit sharp. I might go that route again if I find a decent case.

You could take a look here:
https://www.manfrotto.com/global/products/camera-bags/tripod-bags-and-others/
They make the bags in different lengths and sizes.
