That's cool man. It sure is purty. And early/late enough to be vintage. It has the brass screws that Emmett replaced on my Ironwood. Good luck to you. And all those early cases had "foam deterioration issue". Go to a cushion replacement place or find something a little heavier.

Just because I'm very nosy, did you cancel your railboard order or will you have two sticks in a year?

@arcoddath I've no intention of cancelling the Railboard order. When the Railboard arrives I'll have the hard choice of does #1642 need to move on to a new home or can I justify two Sticks even though still very much a beginner.

Among other things I guess it will depend to an extent on how #1642 & I get along & how different the Railboard is (tone, feel, playability, etc.,)?

Now is far too early for any definitive answer.

Personally I don't understand EVER getting rid of ANY Stick.
It's like, "why do you own two Strats?"
Or, "Why do you own two Jazz Basses?"
BECAUSE I CAN?
Um, they are a little more rare than said instruments...
And Stick Enterprises ain't going anywhere anytime soon. Let them buy their own instrument. And wait.
I regret every instrument I ever I ever sold. They were all unique.

Okay, so, sure I hope that #1642 & I develop a deep & meaningful, longterm relationship. :D

However it's early days, we've not even met in person yet, & I don't like to presume. ;)

I regret selling a few Sticks, I would have never sold knowing that the PASV 4 pickups modules were going to be obsolete. I think the woods will be discontinued and railboards will be the future. I believe.
