I've had this instrument for a couple weeks and will have to part with it as I've learned an important lesson that the stick and classical guitar nails are not compatible (even when they are short enough, the metal strings cut into the right hand nails). I feel ya. I let that fact stop me from playing Stick for decades. After a near death experience 5 years ago and a bucket list realization I cut the nails and picked up the Stick,aiming to give it my best shot. Now however my only regret is I didn't do it after my initial urge back in the 80s. I can play guitar with a flat pick,bare fingers or fingerpicks if I'm called to play guitar. But I don't have much time (or need) for that these days because the musical capability of the Stick subsumes anything I could dream of doing on a guitar plus a whole helluva lot more. But I get your decision. Been there. Good luck with your music whatever you do.
