Post ** SOLD ** 12 String Grand Tarara for sale in UK
12 String Grand Stick, made for me in 2004 (arrived November 2004). Tarara wood with stickups. Light gauge strings, standard tuning setup. Totally excellent condition, light usage, never gigged (in fact, never been out of the house). All modern fittings (rails, flaps, etc)

Ideally I want to sell this to someone who can try before they buy, to ensure that this Stick goes to a good home where it's going to be loved. So, I don't really want to ship this outside of the UK (but I might be persuaded if the buyer was prepared to pay shipping and insurance). I already have a 10-String Stick and a couple of guitars that I play, so this instrument is not getting the loving devotion she deserves. I live in north Wales, UK.

Strap and hard case included. Also includes a spare set of light gauge strings.

*** SOLD *****

How does this price compare to a new 12 string Grand Stick at current prices in GBP shipped to the UK? A new Stick & Hard case is $3060. That's about £2100. Now add on VAT at 20% and it'll come to £2520. Don't forget there's import duty fees, too. So, about £2600.

I might put this on ebay. I would prefer not to let them have the fees ;-) so I've dropped the asking price.

Hi Phil, i'm really tempted to get on a plane from Lisbon, go and meet you and take a look at it... :) How long is the scale? 34" or 36"?

It's a 36er. Anyone who wants to try the Stick is very welcome!

If I could justify spending some money for a third Stick, I would buy it in a blink of an eye. Tarara is the most beautiful wood used for Stick I have ever seen.
